安吉地处长三角经济圈的几何中心，是杭州都市经济圈重要的节点县，属于两大经济圈中的紧密型城市。目前与上海、南京和杭州等周边大中城市分别构成了2小时和1小时交通圈。随着杭长高速二期即将实现全程通车和申嘉湖高速西延工程启动建设，届时将形成“一纵一横”高速公路骨架，构建30分钟到杭湖、90分钟达沪宁的快捷交通网络。商合杭高速铁路过境安吉设站项目正式列入铁道部和浙江省合作协议，将在“十二五”期间启动建设。通杭城际轨道交通项目已纳入浙江省和杭州市“十二五”交通发展规划。

Anji locates at the geometric center of Yangtze River delta Economic circle and is an important joint country of Hangzhou City Economic circle, therefore it is a tightly-nit city between the two economic circles. Now it has formed a I- hour transportation ring with cities such as Hangzhou, and a 2-hour transportation ring with Shanghai and Nanjing, etc.. With the completion and traffic openness of Gen 2 Hangchang Highway and Shenjiahu Highway Xiyan part, there will form “one longitudinal and one transverse” highway framework, by which it will only take you 30 minutes to reach Hanghu and 90 minutes to reach Huning. The project of setting stops in Anji for Shanghehang High-speed rail has been already listed in the agreements between Zhejiang Province and the Ministry of railways, and will be launched during the 12^th Five-Year plan period. The Tonghang intercity railway transportation project has also been listed into the transportation development plan of the 12^th Five-Year plan between Zhejiang Province and Hangzhou City.
